Not just for social workers.
Apricity Supervision is rooted in social work practice, but the values-based, reflective model translates directly across disciplines. Candice regularly provides clinical supervision to:
• Occupational therapists
• Psychologists and provisional psychologists
• Mental health nurses
• Counsellors and psychotherapists
• NDIS support coordinators and practitioners
• Allied health assistants
• Peer workers
If you're doing work that asks something of you ethically and personally- in disability, mental health, justice, health, or community services- this is a space built for that, regardless of what letters follow your name.
For every allied health and helping professional doing the work that matters.
Apricity Supervision is rooted in social work, but the room I hold is built for anyone carrying the weight of frontline practice. I regularly supervise nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, counsellors, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals across Australia.
You don't need a social work background to belong here.
Every discipline has its own language, its own risk frameworks, its own way of measuring competence. I won't ask you to translate your work into social work terms to be understood. Reflective and reflexive supervision is a common language across all helping professions. I've spent 16+ years across mental health, disability, justice, and crisis response, working alongside nurses, OTs, psychologists, and support coordinators, and I know the shape of what each of you carries, even when it looks different on paper.
This supervision is values-based, relfexive and reflective. It's not compliance checking and it's not just a tick-box exercise for your registration body. It's a place to think out loud about the parts of your work that don't fit neatly into a file note. The ethical grey areas. The moments that stay with you after the session ends. The gap between the practitioner you set out to be and the one the system asks you to be some days.
What allied health supervision with Apricity looks like
Supervision here isn't discipline-specific box-ticking. It draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, trauma-informed and strengths-based practice, and a values-based supervisory model- frameworks that apply whether your background is social work, psychology, OT, nursing, or even a leader looking to reflect on their style and improve their team’s sustainability.
Sessions are held online, so you can work with Candice regardless of where you're based in Australia. Individual, group, and organisational formats are all available.
Is this the right fit?
Every relationship starts with a free meet & greet- no obligation, just a chance to see whether the fit is right before committing to ongoing work.
